Ok, so I played it safe.. I used my 18-55IS kit lens! I wanted to be able to zoom back and forth ..

He is 2 weeks old.. Oh boy, good thing this is a freebie and it was a friend's son.. I realized it is not easy to curl up these babies.. I was struggling. 3 of my blankets got peed on too.. lol.. So, here goes..

I learned a lot from this shoot.. boy, and I d/l the pics and thought.. oh, I should've done this, that, etc... I appreciate any C&C. I need help as I have another one coming in 2 weeks! THANKS!

Those are really great. I'd ps out the broken blood vessel in his eye, but...you did a great job!

You'll be surprised how much he grows in just 2 weeks, the posing won't be as easy. These are great, good for you using the lens you are comfortable and taking great shots.

I like them all but #1. Just seems unnatural and I agree with cloning out the eye vessel.

nice set.

Blankets getting soiled is very normal and expect it. Did you use natural lighting or a single strobe/flash? Reflectors can help as well with bouncing moving light.

I think you did very well.

Thank you guys!! Mom wants the blood vessels out too! Lol

it's all natural light, I found a stair landing in their house with a skylight nearby. It was perfect!

I don't have any lighting equipment yet! Yikes!!
