Had a shoot with Victoria last night, doing a theme of jewels. This is just one quick edit, and I know I am not up to most of the talent her, but thought I would share.

Thoughts and critique is appreciated.

The concept might be cool, but I don't think it works. Perhaps if there were no jewels in her hair it might seem more effective. Sorry--not trying to be harsh. There are a lot of positives with this shot, but IMO, not the jewels.

Doesn't work for me either....the jewels I meen.

I'm not so sure about the jewels either. The more I look at it, the more I like it, but it could be that the forehead jewels are killing it for me. Not sure. Imagine it without the forehead jewels. I don't know. i babble. i'll stop now. Very interesting concept though, for sure.

I LOVE the composition of this shot. That is really great. The background color is great as well, as is the lighting. I can clearly see the color of her eyes, and her lips are highlighted beautifully. You've also stairstepped her fingers nicely, and they look very elegant as a result. Nice. Her make up is gorgeous, the blush is especially nice, but you might want to fix her eyeliner at the inside corner of her eye as it is jagged. I'm a detail person and always notice that sort of little stuff, like her bra strap is showing a bit. Also, is one eye bigger than the other, or more heavily lidded, or is it just in this photo? Notice that the lid shows on one eye, but not the other.
Your lighting is such that you've given her hair gorgeous highlights. Overall, this really is nice work. Gorgeous girl too.

Thanks all, I have got a lot of feedback both way, some love the jewels and the concept, other the jewels ruin it for them. Not a problem for me, as I do like them.

@Sue- thank you for all the details, a couple of them I had noticed, but I totally missed the one eye being a little lazy, and the bra strap. I wanted to edit one fairly quickly for her, but the other few will take a fine tooth comb to, and you helped me see some things.
