Well I finally went and checked out a not so local airport that I heard had a good vantage point, here's a quick sample of the results....

The Bonanza is the white balance/ green hue that all my photos ended up with, I had a Tamaron 2x doubler on the 70-200 f4 L that I think caused the discoloration and flatness of the image, so next time I'm going to try without and see if that produces better results, not really happy with the final outcome yet, but I certainly can use the excuse for more practice, C&C is welcome as I hope to get out and do this more and more now that the weather is better, and I need to know what to work on.

so next time I'm going to try without and see if that produces better results,

Why wait? Shoot some tests now. If it's the problem, shoot two images for Custom WB & you can easily switch between them when you switch lenses.
