Hey there, I am looking for some thoughts and feedback on a photography club. I am in the process of trying to set one up and just wondered what people would want/expect from joining a photography club. What would you want to do at each evening and how often would you want it to run? Once a week or once a fortnight?

I look forward to hearing anyone's thoughts.

Cheers

It is a long time since I have went to one, it closed down because no one wanted to run it, because the people who ran it were just too busy in their lives...no they didn't ask me, anyway, with the things that go on in my life, would of been the same, but 20 times theirs

Most of them were or are part of meet up groups, where you have tonnes in London, I am part of the lmpg, where there are currently over 2000 member, including myself, so if you join up, you might see me

Sometimes it include dirge lectures on flash photography from pros, as other types of lectures per week, mainly Saturdays etc

Personally haven't learnt diddly squat from them, most of the stuff I have learnt from here POTN, though I do need a college course, not online one (too distracting and not on a good broadband either) to refine my skills a lot better than it is now
