Like it, to me it is very simple image. Well done!

I really like the sardine, boat, and heatwaves, but I would've cropped the shot differently... it's hard to say how, because I'm not sure what your original image looked like. Given what I see here, I would trim some off the left side and trim whatever that half a thing is on the right side.

It's a nice, simple photo that tells a story. :)

Thanks Markitos!

The original is virtually the same but with more sky - I'll play around with the cropping as you suggest.

Regards,

Mike

Mikey, not too many people actually comment here so you won't get many replies.

I think this photo would look better if you cropped off 1/3 of the image from the left. IMO, there is too much negative space on the left. BTW, is the OOF rednering unedited? It's very interesting!

Hi, yes I take that on board about the comments - thanks! Re the cropping, looking at it again I would agree.

Re the OOF - that is as it was recorded - it's not been touched - it was caused by the heat from the burning wood in the boat

I'm not sure about the framing with the subject being dead in the middle, but it is a very interesting image no less. Well done.
