It's really overexposed, but let's give it the benefit of doubt and just say it's very high key!

I do like the photo - I like the pose, the flow, the expression.
Just a little comment though - you mention the 'lovely light', yet you have modified that with your processing - it could have been taken at just about anytime of day, providing you weren't in direct sunshine...

I suppose it could be considered a little hot, but not "really overexposed" imo. Plenty of detail in all the highlights on my monitor, except for a little sliver on the nose, but all in all a beautiful shot.

Hmm... I converted it to black and white, brought down the highlights on her forearms. The light had a beautiful creamy soft quality to it, that wont change when you process:DAlso, ETA, I don't expect someone to notice what time of day it was in, I stated that it was sunrise, because it's my favorite light to shoot in.

It wasn't that overexposed. ;) It was the slightest bit blown on her forearms, but in raw, I recovered. I spent a good couple of minutes searching for blown spots, and though there are a couple areas that reach 252, 253, the rest is well under 250. :D

I don't think it's "really overexposed" but the skin is too hot IMO. The lighting and comp look great.
