Henry's Photo has a show twice a year at the International Centre in Toronto. The spring show was this past weekend. All the manufacturers are there along with third-party vendors. There are seminars as well.

I went to PMA a couple years ago in Vegas. Much more of a B2B event than one geared toward the general public but it was total sensory overload. All I could do to keep my wallet locked down!

There is nothing like that in the Chicago area(that I know of.) And like Jay said, I would definitely have a hard time NOT spending $$$!;)

Just for a scale reference, I was told that of all the wildly diverse trade shows that come to Vegas, only two actually use every square inch of the Convention Center's floor space.

CES and PMA...!

I've never heard of such a thing, though I'd probably check it out.

I'm on their mailing list because I've purchased so much over the years. They were advertising it quite often on the radio and the newspaper. I wasn't on their site in the few days leading into the show but it's normally on there.
