Red crossbills, finches, nuthach and mountain chickadee

My new 7D put to work. I think I like this camera already...

Red crossbill (male)

It looks like the 7D works well. Very nice, all of them. The Cassin looks like the Hollywoods we get,the crossbills are a different looking bird for sure. Really nice stuff.

Wonderful shots. The Crossbills have some beautiful colors on them.

Excellent shots. The 7D is also a great camera, all new technology, finally. One of the most subtle advances is in the new red/yellow filter. It fixed the problem of blown out reds.

Oh yes, and I tested the high speed burst. It really does give an honest 8 frames a second.
