Sure.
Both the "Painterly" and realitic ones started off the same. 7 shot RAW bracket from -3 to +3, converted to 16 bit Adobe98 tifs. Then imported to Photomatix. The second one I just clicked the grunge preset and backed off a couple sliders. That setting did give me some halos but they're easily taken care of. On this one I just used COLOR RANGE in Photoshop to select the haloed part. Then EDIT>FILL. When the FILL box opens select COLOR in the pull down menu in the CONTENTS box. When you do that you get the eye dropper and just select what ever color you want in the halo. Bye Bye halo. Easy Peasy.
