Do you guys use any of these camera straps for your wedding shoots?
Camera Slingers - http://www.cameraslingers.net/ (external link)
or
Black Rapid RS-7 http://www.blackrapid.com/product/camera-strap/rs-7/ (external link)
or
Black Rapid Double http://www.blackrapid.com …amera-strap/double-strap/ (external link)

I want something that can help off-load the weight of the camera, without the use of an extra assistant :D

Is there a system that can be used as a single and a double as needed?
Thanks.

If I'm right?? I think you can buy two black rapid straps and buy a coupler which makes the two straps a double strap. Then you can take out the coupler if you only intend to use one strap. Hope I answered your question right??? :)

Yes you have, but I am also looking for comments about these systems. I am curious how well they work mounted to the tripod mount.

How did you connect to the bottom? What is that ring?

I have used both the Black Rapid Coupler system and the Double strap for weddings. Using the Tripod mount is the only way I'd carry my 70-200. I would recommend using the Double Strap system. It can be separated to be used as a single sling system as well.

As far as the Cameraslinger system, I thought about it, but it looked too much like a bra!...lol.

Why don't you use the D ring from the tripod mount.....thats what I use and never had a problem.

My preference between the two straps listed by the OP would be the Black Rapid Double strap, for a couple of reasons.

One, the BR has a chest strap and the Camera Slinger doesn't. I'd want the extra security... Two, the clip on the Black Rapid is more secure. It actually locks closed, while, as near as I can tell, the one on the Slinger is spring-loaded and could catch on something and open accidentally.

I actually took two of the original Black Rapid straps and converted them into a double using THIS (external link) modification. I took it a step further and added a Black Rapid BRAD (external link) as a chest strap. While my straps can be broken down into a pair of singles, I went ahead and purchased an RS-7 for those times when I shoot with only one camera.

Because my Stroboframe QR does not have a D-ring :(

Even though I use Black Rapids, the Luma Loop has a more flexible mounting solution for the tripod mount problem, their lanyard can be attached to any strap mounting point.

But they don't produce a double strap.

I would also look at Cotton Carriers and Spider holsters, the main issue I see with the double straps is that the cameras will swing around a lot and if you need to bend over or crouch down then they could swing down and hit the ground or other objects. I think for wedding photography where you are trying to get creative angles, trying to stabilise one or both cameras all the time is a bit messy.

If you only use one camera then the sling style strap is a good option.

For those that use Arca-Swiss style brackets and plates on their cameras and lenses, the solution is simple. I attached the Black Rapid hardware to a compatible clamp available from Kirk and I use that to connect the strap to the camera.

Because you can quickly attach it to a tripod head without removing the strap. Its just a small key ring and is strong enough to hold any lens combo I use like the 100-400L.
