Brilliant piece of work.

Thanks.

Very envious here Ken, the Avocets and Stilts have been and always will be a favorite of mine. I don't get to see the Avocet often here and never in full breeding color like yours.

You've found a gold mine and have been doing an outstanding job capturing the beauty of these birds.

Great work, thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I'm glad I took your suggestion to get back to them in the morning light.

Gorgeous shots, Ken, and some great poses.

Thanks Stan.

Wonderful series. Love the beaks on these guys.

Thanks. Their beaks do give them a graceful appearance.

Beautiful set of a gorgeous bird Ken. The last image is especially good. Wonderful work.

Thanks Joe. That was my favorite, mainly because I'm terrible at BIFs.

Outstanding series, Ken. Beautiful images. All of them.

Thanks, Harvey.

Great set Ken, well worth your time away from work. The open beak shot is my favorite. Looks like a fragile beak, so thin, probably very strong, whatever, Great set and shooting.

Thanks. They were making alarm calls and I was trying for a shot with an open beak. Took several frames to get one, but I'm learning the value of patience and persistence.

Ken,
Lovely light, compositions and exposure, tremendous series, Only thing that could make these better is if I had taken them ;))

Dan

Thank you very much Dan.
