Zoombrowser install Windows 2000

I have not been able to successfully install the USB Twain driver or Zoombrowser EX in Windows 2000. I get the following error messages when trying to connect the camera or open Zoombrowser:

1. PVMaskEdit control is not currently installed.

2. PVTime control is not currently installed.

Both of these are ActiveX controls. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to no avail. I have not received a response fron Canon consumer support. Anybody know how to fix this?
