Hi all,
We have a Fuji Xerox C450 Document Centre at work. This will print in A3 and A4 full colour. When I print on plain paper, the prints are pretty good (well, very good, but not 100%).
So, I had a brainwave, why not find some gloss paper and these will then print out far better! I went to a photo store and they sold me a box of "Ilford Gallerie Smooth Gloss Paper" assuring me that it would work fine.
Well, it doesn't. I am told that it's because I need to add a profile to the print job, or tell the printing software that it's printing on "Gloss" paper. The printer driver doesn't have a gloss or matt option, though and I can only find an ICC profile option.
Can anyone give me any pointers here? Or should I stick to getting A3 sized prints done at a lab?
Regards,
Simon....
