Hello,

A few shots from a couple of weeks ago. Was an extremely wet day, my "weatherproof" 40D wasn't too happy after this event, yet my plastic 350D was fine? How does that work

I'm still working on perfecting my processing technique, some of these are a bit over-the-top. Any feedback would be more than welcome though.

Thanks,

Neil

The only part I see too over the top is the vignetteing. Other then that they are great!

What about some selective noise reduction. The subjects are all fine, but the softer background does not need the "gritty realism" to be quite so "gritty".

Great series, love the post processing! Could you share with us what you are doing. Have just started to add alternative processing to my motorsport stuff.

Cheers
Daniel

Nice shots..
On the 40D it's not weatherproof they don't like the rain at all! I would use one from time to time as a second camera & if it's wet it stops working whereas my 1D keeps going.

Used my 350D loads in the rain and it seems fine lol Not keen on the PP, look a bit HDR to me.. Lovely shots though. Have you hosted the originals anywhere?

Woah, really, really likes these shots alot. I just love the "atmospherics" that they give out, especially gibsons 6R4-the 2nd one that is.
I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination but i don't think i would change anything in these pictures PP wise. Think they're pretty much spot on. Would certainly look good on a poster promoting the sport IMHO.

Thanks very much for sharing them with us.

Regards
Rick

hey, love the photos alot, makes me want to go play Dirt 2 and get sideways (hey im only 21, i gotta dream some how :) ).
As some else asked, what are you doing in PP? i dont need exact details, just some pointers to get me in the right direction because i would like to use this style on my skate/snowboard photos. i know some people can be picky/stubborn about giving away PP details but just some pointers would be really appreciated if possible

cheers damien
