I just got a used 1D Mark III and the lowest ISO I can go is 200.
Anybody have any idea?

Went Custom Function I, 3.
Highest ISo : H
Lowest ISO : L and it is enabled.
I still can't go under 200.
Manual does not seem to have an answer either.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you're not shooting with a Canon, but instead, shooting with a Nikon body?

;)

is highlight priority enabled? If your camera has it and it is enabled then you won't be able to go below ISO200 (at least that is my experience with the 5d2)

Can only wish I had a 1DMIII. Do you have High Tone Priority set? On my 50D it's C.Fn II-3. Limits the low ISO to 200.

OOPS - not fast enough.

Since you got it used I would suggest doing a hard reset on the camera to reset all the custom functions and preferences. That way you won't fun into odd behaviors as much.

Manual page 164, C.Fn II -3 Highlight tone priority: With setting 1 (Enable), the settable ISO speed range will be 200 - 1600. Also, the ISO speed display ed on the top LCD panel and in the viewfinder, will have the "0" displayed as a smaller character such as "2oo".

You mean you read cover-to-cover, except you skipped everything in between. :D

If you bought the camera used, you also need to make sure the previous owners name has been removed. Otherwise the exif on your pictures will have their name in it.

I'm pretty sure that the high tone priority is on. Just try to turn it off.
I experience the same on my 7D previously. :)
