I put my used batteries & full CF cards in the side pockets to make sure they don't get mixed up with my good ones inside the bag. I've never found a use for the back pocket.

I am looking forward to the Retro 20 V2. It is time they upgraded this bag.

Already done. It's called the Retrospective 7.

If your not using a grip the 7 is really pretty ideal replacement for the retro 10. They fixed most every issue I had with the 10 ( thick strap, a bit to deep, flimsy dividers )

-edit - I assume they will do the same update for the 20

Looking at the retrospective 7 it seems smaller than the 20. Even the description implies it. With the 20 you can fit a pro DSLR with a 70-200 attached. The 7 says only a 24-70 attached or a 70-200 detached. I think its more of a redesigned retrospective 10.

Exactly, the 7 will not fit a 70-200 2.8 mounted.

Every market is different. Here a Retro bag costs about $220 or so. Add 13% tax out the door. Toronto.
Retailers still have old stock. They're selling V1 TT bags for full pop. Consumers don't get to choose. They don't have any V2's on the shelf.
I saw my first R7 about a week ago....end of 1st week in September. I truly value the big US stores that will ship to Canada. However, you have to know exactly what you want to order a bag.
