He sure have his own style :) I'm looking for the same thing, hard to tell on his videos how it looks carrying it. There are some videos with this for the 20 bag but that don't help much. Just have to wait on more reviews...

I wish the 30 was just a tab taller but with this short coming I still ordered the 30. I think think the 20 is a little to small. I will just have to adapt when using my 7D with the 70-200 2.8 IS attached no big deal I guess LOL

got my 10 today. Haven't had any time to play yet really, but is anyone else disappointed in the strap? The padding is amazing, it's the strap itself that's very thick... It's also a lot shorter than I was hoping? If you shorten it all the way, it's RIDICULOUSLY short... That means they could have easily gone longer. It's no where near the length my UD30's strap was. The width I don't care about, I prefer wide but it's not needed. But yeah, the thickness of the webbing is odd, it's got such a good pad on it a seatbelt (which is MUCH thinner) would work. But between that and the length I think I might need to cut mine off and make my own (I'll keep their awesome pad though).

otherwise I like it a lot. I love how all the pockets have silencers for the velcro. I've shut them all up except for about 1" left on the main outside flaps (not all the way quiet, not noisy, but just a taaaaaad left exposed ;)).

Anyone with the Retro 10 know if an Ipad can fit in the bag somehow? Otherwise i guess i will have to go with the 20.

Just a shout-out to Glade for the great review - it was enough to convince me to order a 20 today - and in Pinestone no less. I've broken my string of black bags for the first time. :)

Sadly, mine will be delayed while B/O's are filled, about a week or so I'm told.

Ben - I would have used your affiliate link but I had a credit at Adorama, sorry dude.

the specs on the pocket on the back suggest it will just fit sideways, but I'm not sure on the zipper actually. The iPad is 9.5" wide and needs to go into the r10 sideways. That back zipper is ~10" when opening (the opening is that big). So it should fit, but it'll be tight. The pocket itself is around 11" x 8" and the iPad is 7.5" x 9.5", so if you can get it in through the zipper it'll fit for sure. The iPad will easily fit the tall way and be shorter than the bag, but the top will stick out and inch or so.

I'll check tonight.

thanks, also is there an interior pocket where it could be as well. I know in my UD series bags there was a divided section where i could put papers in such in the main compartment with the camera. Having the Ipad in the main compartment would probably be the best case scenario for me as the bag itself would probably carry better.

The bag is made with a sturdy cotton canvas (at least the pinestone color is). The first few pictures were taken with the bag completely empty. It holds it's form very well but is still soft enough to form fit a little bit so it doesn't feel like a box on your hip or back.

there are two inside pockets, a small zippered one against your body which is too small for sure. Then the outer accessory pocket you've seen picks of (actually, there's two of these, one inside the bag and one outside). I don't think it'd fit in there either. I'll check tonight though in all 3 places.

Has anyone received a black one? I read that the fabric is a bit different on the black versus the pinestone.

I have the 10 and can get my iPad in the back zipper pocket (it's very tight), but carry it in the front pocket. I bought the bag to be bag for my iPad, accessories, and one body and lens. Got to tell you this is one of the nicest bags I've ever owned!! I've owned Domke, LowePro, Tenba, Crumpler, you name it....

I spoke with Doug Murdoch today and gave him my quick review of my thoughts on the bag. Told him this may become my "man purse."

BTW He told me they were sold out of the pinestone 20s. I do know that Roberts in Indy had some pinestone 20s yesterday afternoon.
