The International Space Station passed by Florida last night, I still have not gotten the shot that I wanted yet... This is driving me nuts... that's one of the main reason why I try not to do and "space" related photos... not many chances to try to get it right and the next chance is always different, but it's a good learning experience.

I'm still trying to get and image to title it, "The 1st flight of Man and the Flight of Space"

I think you've got it pretty close. I really like what you've got. That's a keeper.

Steve.

The oldest and newest flying machines :-)

I like the idea and the shot looks good from where I sit :-)

Fantastic concept. Beautiful exposure. Well done.

Absolutely superb idea and execution.

If this hasn't nailed what you're looking for, I can't wait to see the one you're finally happy with.

Hey I think that is an awesome shot.

Since the Shuttle is actually docked to the ISS, is it actually brighter?

Also, I have a really cool title you could use instead...is it ok to mention it? I mean, do titles on images become copyright material? (really an honest question)

the brightness, which essentially is the reflection of sunlight off ISS' solar panels, depends on it's angle that the ISS is being orientated as it circles earth

I don't understand what you mean when you say, do titles on images become copyright material?

That's a GREAT shot, in my opinion! I'm in Miami and have actually driven out into the darkness of the Everglades in the wee hours of the morning (read: the literal middle of nowhere) to capture the ISS fly-by. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but my oldest son enjoys the thrill with me, so the effort is all worth it. My shots are nowhere near the beauty of your shot, but the one I'm really waiting for (if I can coordinate the fly-by with the incident) is the double-streak of the shuttle undocked from the ISS. That would be a highlight for my son and I. Now, if we could just catch one of the last two shuttle launches, we'd be really happy campers! :D

Great concept and shot! I love the colors.
Instead of one long exposure could you do 3 (or more) 20 second exposures and stack them together like this?
The streak/gap/streak signifies motion.
