Hey all,

My friend paid me money to put it in my credit card and order for him 7D online, and because i will order from B&H they are closed now for holiday, so i will wait until they are opening again.
Just yesterday my friend called me and told me that he met a friend or someone, and that person told him that he bought 7D from a local store with the price about $1520, this is even cheaper than the net, but my friend told me he will go today [with me also] to check the camera in that store and also in the authorized Canon dealer to see what's the difference to have that much difference in the price [the price in the author. dealer is about $1900[more or less] so it is really so strange or weird for the prices, and my friend called that cheap store and asked them, and they said it is because they don't have a dealer or international warranty, it is only the warranty of the store, is the warranty cost about $400-600? I never used the warranty once with all my gear before so what is the heck going on with the prices?
So i posted this thread to ask, how can i check the camera body [or even the lens if the price is also so cheap and low than the authorized dealers] in the store? I don't think i can't take the camera out for days to test it but if i will buy the item just now in the store, what risks i may face if the warranty is of the store only and if later i find something wrong with it and then the store will say i can't fix or repair that problem because it is not under the warranty, or maybe that problem will occur will cost me the difference price between the store and the authorized dealers?

I hope i can find some lenses cheaper there, i may buy something from them if i can trust them.

Warranty shouldn't cost that much but may be it does. This is all I can say. make sure the store has good reputation.

I know more about gear than I know about photography :p

Then it will take long time to know bout the the store reputation, i think i herd many mentioned about this store for the lowest price but until now i didn't hear people who complain on that store [maybe because i didn't ask them], so we will see, i listed some lenses to ask about the prices, i hope he has that 600mm at lowest price.
