actually that camera has flip LCD.
so it would be perfect for ground level.
even if you dont want to use live view, you are shooting bline anyways.

dslr's should be built with extended eyepieces from the factory. It's only logical and ergonomic unless your eyes are on the side of your head like a fish or you have a face of a flounder.
