First ever moon picture

This is not so much my normal kinda photography, but got the bug to shoot a pic of the moon last night. First time trying, only took 3 pics as the bugs were really bad. Shot with the 7d and 28-135 kit lens.

It looks fine for a first try except it looks like you bumped up the contrast and sharpening WAY too much (two of my pet peeves with the moon).

How did u get such a nice sharp photo with 28-135????
i got one and i bet that i can't do it......

canon 7d on a tripod, used live view on 10x zoom to focus. and the 30 second timer to take the shot. Then a pretty heavy crop and some sharpening and level adjustments. As stated above I may have gone a little to heavy on the sharpening but I kinda like the look of it.
