These were recently taken in Kansas City at the Show Me National Qualifier.

All shots taken with 50D & 100mm F/2 lens

Comments, Suggestions, and Tips welcome...edits welcome

These look underexposed to me. Also, you might want to have the mods move this to the Photo Sharing section.

I'm new at shooting Volleyball, so simply saying they look underexposed is a lot of help....lol thanks

myoung,
#6 is your best shot as far as action goes IMO. This is the sports "Talk" section not the "Sports" photo sharing section. WB, crop and exposer could use some work here.
Shots of backs, ponytails, and lack of faces are less desirable in a sport shot.
Just a few things to work on. V-Ball is very hard to shoot and if this is your first time this is not a bad start.
There are some threads here regarding positioning and techniques for this sport with some very good shooters just do a search.
Zivnuska and Big K have some very good input to name a couple.

I agree with you 100% on researching,,, been reading as much as possible.. I didn't realize how difficult volleyball would be until I tried it..
