CRIKEY

I now know why some people regard this as the sharpest Canon Zoom L.

Taken at f/2.8.

Nice! :D

To all the tech savvy - I have a new HDD in my computer - do I create a simple, spanned or striped volume? I don't have a clue!

*edit* I worked it out, don't worry! :)

I'm a bit undecided on Biggin atm, All depends on obtaining some longer glass. Hiring has been slightly kiboshed because my bank is currently blocked atm due to some git of a fraudster trying to get at my account!

@ Clare ~ thanks for the fox update, hope they show signs of improvement soon :)

@ Chris ~ that is one crisp lens ~ did it come with a Mr Universe body building lessons book ;)

Ref Biggin Hill ~ missed the advance booking deadline :( Kay, you said worries about the weather. Does it get fairly fixed by 48 hours before for that area. Also just how early should one plan on getting there??? Got a hired 100-400 booked that will be going to the Gorilla Safari whether I come to Biggin or not :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

I touched on this a few days ago, about buying from OneStop Digital. Although it is going to save me £100 for the lens and telecoverter, im still very worried about warrenty and it actually getting here.

So im gunna buy it over here, cheapest place atm is Martins Camera Shop, but ive never heard of them - are they ok to buy from?

Plus i still need to find a new bag for the 150-500?

If I was you Kay I would get it from a shop like Park Cameras, it may cost you a bit more but at least you can take it back if you have a dud one, you can go and try it and make sure your happy with it, there very helpful in there, I got mine from Park and took the first one back after a week as it seemed to hunt all the time, they exchanged it and it was spot on, Sigma are known to have Quality problems with a lot of their lens, you get the same problems with Canon lens just not as many.

Hullo hulo.

Crikey Chris, that IS IS sharp. hahaha gettit? Must be uberhappy.

Just got back from a wedding for a few hours, bit of Dominoes then off to the reception! Whilst I wait for pictures to upload, I think its time to answer the door. First day the NEX-5 saw some proper low light.

Flash Git! Grrrrrrrr!

I can see my domestic bliss being shattered again -

"Darling!"

"Now what?"

"Have you seen the new 70-200 f2.8L MkII?"

"What about my new Rolex?"

End of conversation.
