Woah! Looks like I just took a wrong turn and ended up in the Pets section.

Great shots all round too.

Thanks for the kind words on my hummingbird shot. One of my favourites from that holiday. But with wife, family and 4 kids in tow, there was really no time to stay in one place and shoot much. Not that I'm complaining. Just after that shot, we ended up in pools heated by the local volcano. Very nice and relaxing soak.

As for me, I'm a happy camper. My new toy arrived today!

...

Nah. Not the big old thing on the left. The other one. :D

I can't help the feeling that there are a few things missing on the back though...

...

Next step is to load film (if I can figure out how) and play with the cool Eye Control focus. Only 7 focus points but fun to see them follow the eye. Even works with my glasses, which I was worried about.

...

Alas, I have 3 hours of work to finish before that bit... :(

Wendy

Sweet!! Looks a bit naked on the back :D I wonder why that eye-focus malarky never made it to the digital series?

I'm in retro mode atm, just pre-ordered myself a Big Trak :D
Classic toy of the early 80's, i was the envy of all my friends for owning one of these (with the trailer!)

Sigh, those were the days.

I miss England :(
next year I will be living in Germany and plan on popping over to England to visit family more often, so maybe I can attend a meet if you have another one...although not living there now, its where I spent the majority of my life and my family are still there (Bordon)
