Definitely ten days on a cruise to St Peterburg and various other places on route. Our English Heritage membership runs out soon ( really under used ) so we will be going to Dover Castle and as many other places as we can fit in. Kris has just had her last exams and is off for four weeks as well.

Also got the thumbs up from work that I can have the BWC day off so can definitely make that one

Blimey! Yes it is, but we're using a different version to the affected one so we should be ok. I hope!

Bleh, that was a fun evening, knackered now.

More than 30 10 year olds, (and a few parents). Prom photos.
All photographed, and printed on site.

3 lights, similar to the photo of my boy the other night, but more space so better positioned lights.

Lots of happy parents (some cried)

Thanks Ian for your help.

Quick question , Whats the difference between the IS and non-IS 70-200 f/2.8.

Would you see much difference in the two, and would I regret buying the non-IS over the IS? Need one for 3 weeks.......

In short, image stabilisation. IS is a great addition to the lens and I will never regret buying mine. It gives you more hand-hold-ability at slower shutter speeds.

Second time quoting this...

I posted a new thread about an hour or 2 ago about this in the Forum Talk section and it has been deleted without any of the admin team telling me why...now as this forum is a different version of vBulletin than the one affected I'm curious as to why they deleted it.

Where's Pete when you need answers?! ;)

In fact, where's Pete??? Not seen him here for ages.

I bought my IS version for that price inc. delivery a year or two ago (from Kerso)...I think his price has risen since then though.
