We only managed to see it at FIA from the comfort of the worlds slowest traffic jam

It came round us flat then banked and started to climb, I got my camera just as it started to bank and gain height!

We got caught in traffic on the way home near Camberley and that was at about 7pm!!

I think it's the 400mm 5.6L - the hood is in keeping with that lens...

do it!!!!!!!! I am heading down after work and I can pick you up from LGW or Three Bridges (both on the mainline!) probably head down about 7ish?

It's probably easiest for all involved if I just catch a train all the way there. What time does it get dark out these days? I haven't been paying attention

Cool. What time does the train to shadwell run till? My big concern is that I'll have to hop on a train back as soon as it gets dark

err I've never got it Northbound, but southbound it was like 11:50, I dont mind giving you a lift to FH, it would just be in my **** little commuting car and not the Civic!

worst case scenario we've got a spare room and your welcome to stop over, we're next to the station so you'd be able to get an early train back if necessary!?

Looks like abou the same time northbound. The last train into london bridge leaves at a few minutes to midnight, so that may be an option as well.

no worries - you can always get the Gatwick express if it gets too late!

the beach is the perfect place for the fire orb craziness - but I'm not sure the local constabulary would like it much! (a more deserted location is probably better!)
