It was nice knowing Adrian was out on circuit getting the main race photos, allowing me to be a bit more creative with the atmospheric images.

Sweet :)
If you have any more, when they are processed, whack them in the Adventure Diary thread and I will write a blog post :)

Also, if you could aquire 'kskitt's address and send Dave to her that would be awesome :)

I'm off to Poland later in the week, Dave could come if he wants.

Bit of a cheek to call it a mini triathlon, looks very gruelling to me. Well done for completing it

Thanks guys, I thought I was still in pretty good shape I thought the swim would be the hardest part as it's never been my strongest discipline, unless being chased by crocodiles but that's another story, and I did think that it was a bit of a long distance for it but the worst bit was the fact I was told when recruited for it " don't worry most of the guys taking part are older than you no one is taking it seriously " they lied ex squaddies not taking it seriously I should of known better. :D

no worries - you can always get the Gatwick express if it gets too late!

the beach is the perfect place for the fire orb craziness - but I'm not sure the local constabulary would like it much! (a more deserted location is probably better!)

If you give the fire a go Lee you'll need some lighter fluid or petrol to light the wire wool, and watch out for the sparks and the wire wool coming off as you spin it.

Hi all. Some lovely pics of the bikes there. Im laid up in bed with a really snotty cold. In this weather i tell you....

I was thinking of purchasing a monopod for my 450d. I have a Manfrotto 494rc2 ball head on my tripod. It would be nice if it was compatible with that.

Thanks. All.

Cough Cough..

What date do you leave/get back Sylvester?

It's possible he can go, but he needs to be with Kay by the 4th of August. :D

Hey guys, I am organising a photography meetup to Oxford

This meetup will be from 10:30am onwards. We will meet at 10:30am but it could go as long as everyone wishes it to.
...
We will start by meeting outside Mcdonalds which is located inside London Paddington train station. From there we will be catching a train to Oxford which is roughly one hours journey. Once we arrive we will be tourists for the day sampling the many attractions on offer in this wonderful city. Along the way we will take photos and stop off for lunch somewhere.

To finish off we will almost certainly end in a bar for a drink to discuss/summarise the day!

This beautiful city has incredible photographic opportunities such as, Blenheim Palace, Oxford University, botanic gardens, Carfax Tower + many more, so let your creative juices flow. Lets group together take great photographs and make some friends whilst we're there together.

We have researched into train fares and this will cost £8 each per person return which is very reasonable. If you could please book your tickets in advance here: www.buytickets.nationalexpresseastanglia.com/combinedmatr (external link)... please select the following train tickets when you purchase:

Outgoing Journey:

Leave Paddington station: 11:00am and arrive in Oxford: 12:26

Return journey:

Leave Oxford station: 18:40pm and arrive in London Paddington: 19:52pm

Well how about some from your last meet?

And has anyone from here been to one of your meets? You could be flogging a dead horse promoting them on here.
