Looks good mate. :)

Re the photography meetups chap, I feel the same - he pops in, advertises his thing and f's off until the next one. It's bordering on spam/advertising which is what this forum is not about. If he were to stay and chat then that's all well and good. But he doesn't!

Matt, I like the site, suits your shots. Bit more text on the homepage would be nice although I appreciate it is a work in progress :)
Is it a site designed with a view to using it as a sales medium or...?

Lee I got your message on flickr mate.
I am going to rain check Brighton, may have to show my face at the archery field at 6.30 which would throw timings way out :(

Well how about some from your last meet?

And has anyone from here been to one of your meets? You could be flogging a dead horse promoting them on here.

I'm not sure why people give him such a hard time here. The meets are free so it's not like he's spamming to make money and they're definitely not short of people who attend. He's just letting us know, if you're not interested then that's fine.

For the record, I've gone along on one of the meets and there were just too many people for my liking. It's a good group if you haven't already got a group of people to go out shooting with (like we have here). I suspect that's the reason we don't go so you may be right with the dead horse comment, but still..

Looks really good to me mate. What are your plans for adding new photos? Doesn't seem like there's much room to grow.

(nevermind, I didn't realize the images on the home page were more or less gallery thumbs)

cool - thanks guys. I hope these are all your honest opinions! lol

Not sure what else to write on there at the moment tbh.
Are the images generally strong enough? Im not too sure

As for the the future plans for the site. At the moment it's mainly just a reference point that i can direct people to. But hopefully it will develop as required as things move forward...

edit also - ive added the google analytics stuff to it - but not sure ive done it properly as it's showing nil visits and im assuming you lot did actually look

also anyone know how i disable right click? is that done via my host or the portfolio template people?

Hi all. Some lovely pics of the bikes there. Im laid up in bed with a really snotty cold. In this weather i tell you....

I was thinking of purchasing a monopod for my 450d. I have a Manfrotto 494rc2 ball head on my tripod. It would be nice if it was compatible with that.
Thanks. All.
Cough Cough..

They should be compatible, easiest way to make sure is to take your head to a shop and have a play. I started off using a head but now don't bother and don't miss it.

For me I think you will have to split it up into categories with headings, I know it makes it more conventional but as you add more to it I think it will get confusing. As to the content I like it and think the pictures are strong enough

The other option could be to have the categories show as you roll over the images?

Check again tomorrow...pretty sure you get daily totals, not live updates.

Lots of ways to disable right click, but in your case I suspect that'll be the portfolio template.
