Whats lens for BWC then?
Am thinking of doing a big PC reshuffule as recently my filing system got a bit jumbled recently due to filling my drives up.
How do you file your pics?

I tend to rely on the ol' 100-400 - covers a multitude of sins and I've probably taken the bulk of my BWC shots on that lens... 500px

Sounds like the 300mm and 400mm maybe over kill. Its the bird flying display thats my main interest so want to make sure I have something that covers that. the 300 for the flying would be good as its under a tree and a bit dark, I used the 135 +TC last time but could have done with more reach 1DX II 5DMK3 II 24-70L II 35L II 85L II 100L II 135L II 300L II 70-200L II

A few posed group shots in the lobby by the toilets not ideal and then some stuff whilst they were playing. Was a dark underground venue in earls court area - hoping to get some decent stuff for them but band/live act shoots are quite difficult. Any failsafes you use Ian/anyone else?well dark underground venues like the ones I started shooting in Camden are very tricky. Maybe have a work with the lighting guy to get some white lights into the shot or ask if the lights are on a repeat cycle. Shoot manual, expose for the yellow lights, if you get hit with red or blue then it might under expose but I'm personally not interested in red or blue people. Also have a work with your mates to make sure they don't dive round the stage all the time so you can get some sharp shots. Other than that I wing it everytime at each gig www.iesphotography.co.uk

All we need is the weather now, I'll make my mind up on Monday sfter seeing the forecast, my boss is off so going to try and blag a day off without it hitting the system Already warming people up and rearranged Tues meeting lol ![]() there's no need for a tripod IMO, I would suggest a beanbag or monopod if you need some support - the enclosures are very photographer friendly so you should be alright handholding... ahh I hadn't even thought of the weather! they have a nice enough coffee shop! 500px
