My wife and I just bought bikes, so we're out and about as much as we can do (well, when my wife's bike doesn't fall off the roof of the car every few minutes....). Welcome back, Pete. Fortunately I've a fitting UV filter that's unused from when I bought my 400D many moons ago that fits. It's a Jessops but here's hoping not too much quality loss. See what you think but when I had a Jessops uv filter I definitely noticed a drop on quality and worse flare SwitchBlade wrote in post #10794617 Ok bag expert. I need a camera bag, preferably a backpack. At the moment the layout I'm thinking is 5D with 85 1.8 attached, 40D with 24 1.8 attached (24 is similar length to 85 and just a touch wider), 50mm 1.8, 70-200 F4, 5 speedlights, few small modifiers and my triggers. The slingshot 200 sort of does it but the speedlights are out and the 70-200 is in a lowepro lenscase on the side. The sling strap is also awkward with the Cotton Carrier vest on. I'd like if possible to be able to grab the camera from the bag without having to set it down and unzip everything and rummage, but realise that that may not be the easiest thing with my wish list. Just had an e-mail from Jacobs stating they have a sale on Lowepro at the moment. Great shot if I were Ben I would have that on my wall. Another great one vmlopes wrote in post #10811809 Ok so if you remember before I went away I mentioned that my family breed fighting and running bulls in Portugal, have done for the last 80+yrs, so I have grown up around these animals all my life...... No. 163 not a great shot, but I'll tell you the story around this one.............600kgs of pure muscle 4years old and in his prime. The day before this, the bulls for fighting in the ring are brought through the streets, all main routes are blocked off etc...........now bear in mind that the village is in full fiesta time for a full 5days, loads of drinking/eating and general merryment. Bulls are brought through the streets at approx' 2am this time 6 bulls all about the 600kgs mark. Now buy about 2am there are plenty of people that are well tanked up and fancy themselves as potential bullfighters out of the 20K that were there that night. Bearing in mind that these are not running bulls but pure fighting bulls for the arena they should know better, anyway no.163 decided he did not like the look of a particular group of young men and I kid you not, even if your 100mts away this thing will run you down in a blink of an eye...........suffice to say that 3 very seriously injured men were carted off to hospital all with broken ribs, gored and internal injuries. I never knew there was a difference between Spanish and Portuguese bull fighting, doesn't seem so bad that the tips of his horns have been cut off. One thing I think is really unfair is when the bull wins he gets put down. Personally I think he should come out to play again. I know they do this in Spain don't know about Portugal PETERSYMES wrote in post #10812761 Very pretty waterway, probably quite nice in the summer Blimmey that's more post in the last 10 Mins than the previous 3 Months, i had better stop. However i did manage to sneak my ipod nano on and took this footage. It is unnerving walking over such a drop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-jCS5T27sY go to the west rim, that is where the skywalk is and some stunning views.
