thanks fella - they ate a helluva lot of memory cards!

please don't find holes in my new PC - it's all ordered and paid for! and it's gonna be a Godzilla'esque improvement over what I have so I'm happy (or at least was!)

I much prefer working on the PC for that sort of thing - it's just typically my laptop is quicker!

the only downside is my current PC is sporting a rubbish monitor so I'll need to upgrade that too, what a dilemma!

Nice spec Lee - not much wrong with that If your existing machine is 8 years old you are certainly going to notice the difference!

I have decided I'll try and use the PC for solely doing photo related/artwork stuff and use the laptop for downloading viruses and social media!

Do you have a decent monitor?

EDIT: Just seen your comment. Take a look at my post yesterday then. Top quality monitor and a bargain price. The one I got is great!

I saw that too - it's on the consideration list for sure! have been on a spending spree so I best see how I struggle on with the exisiting one for a while!

I couldn't agree more - I seem to be able to manage the 1D mkII files fine, but the 7D files grind everything to a halt! (after feeding the Rabbits however the Hamster doesn't get a look in!)

Hi everyone! Just got back from our Chernobyl/Kiev trip about an hour or two ago.
Incredibly interesting and some great nights out with top people as well.

Will get photos up asap, but i am being bombarded by tasks by the people around me at the moment.

Not had a chance to catch up with the forum. The only picture i have seen was the fantastic jump sequence over the mountain at Cadwell Park. Fantastic work Rich!
