some truly awesome planes gents!

looks like you were blessed with the weather too, I do love that part of the world! (did you see lots of Red Kites too?)

anyways another exciting lunch time spent photographing Dragons & Damsels - got to see some rare mating and egg laying too! shot a bit of video, all very exciting! now a (hopefully) short afternoon and a nice weekend! anyone up to anything good??

Stunning shots, did you have to wait around long. a couple of people went to the loop a few weeks back and were there for hours before seeing a plane.

Whereabouts do you go on your lunch to get these shots? I assume you work at the Reigate office?

Amazing shots everyone!

The construction of those planes always fascinates me - they look like a metal patchwork quild with all those panels and rivets

Just round the corner - about a 2 mins walk! (and yes the Reigate office)

I am gonna go shoot some macro type stuff a week Sunday - but I guess you'll be in the States?!?

Makes it look like a pencil drawing Rich - which is pretty damn cool.

day 1 wqas a complete blank, and day two was pretty poor except for one hour. Can say similar for Thursday as well.

It's worth the wait, but you gotta be patient, you often only get one go at each pass, and may never see them again.

Yeah I will be in the US still. We fly Sunday evening. Going to try to make the London meet the weekend after :)

I like it a lot. :D You guys must have been right next to the guy in the thread that Mitesh posted as he has a harrier shot that is very similar.

+1 for the airfix kit - a great example of HDR :D

I guess it would work well on a Hercules type plane (I'm not good with planes!) but one with propellers!
