Ian looking at the shots you posted in Fox2 it certainly gets crowded, reminds me of Donna Nook

Just browsing the Fox2 LF threads and IMO you must have a gander at this one ~ some awesome ones by that tog :D http://fox2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1817 (external link)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

We will have to arrange some counselling for you !!

I would love to go to, keep me informed if you ever decide to make a trip and have a spare seat.

We will have to arrange some counselling for you !!

The more I look at Ian and Rich's photos and the ones on Fox I am more determined to. It would be good to get some before they decommission the tornado's. One jet I would love to photograph is the Jaguar but I think I might be disappointed there.

Mark was there yesterday he's a great photographer, I'm gutted we only had one pass form a harrier, I would have loved to attempted some more 'dynamic' angles.

One of the things to bear in mind is in 3 days you may get one pass (or none of course) from any plane so it's important to nail them each time, which is tough!

Nice work Ian.

Right, breaking the silence with some shots of Strasbourg, a really lovely city right on the border with Germany, I heartily recommend visiting for a long weekend. Great food, great atmosphere and a great diversity of architecture.

Need some help with this last image - we sat next to him at a cafe outside the cathedral...we are sure he's a british actor from the TV, recognised his face and voice immediately but just can't think who he is or what we've seen him in!! Any help will be gratefully received!

Nicely done on the newspaper picture. Congrats!

Also, all those plane shots are stunning. And the first HDR really has a cool cartoony look. It's the one that works best for me. But I have to say that your landscapes nearly (not quite, they have stiff competition! :) ) steal the show.

You 2 definitely made the most out of your trip.

Today's efforts were a few more lensbaby shots. But I felt really brave and went for moving subjects, including a 3 year old one...

I have to say the 7D Live View is a great help with the Lensbaby.

Strasbourg is a beautiful city. And your shots do it justice. They are stunning.

Thanks Wendy!

That lensbaby looks like fun, I'd love to get one. Your 3rd shot is a cracker. :)

Thanks. The Lensbaby is a lot of fun. That 3rd shot is my favourite too. I spotted an evening ray of sunshine brightening her face and moved in for the shot. :)

It's a nicer lens than its look suggests too. That shot has had a bit of vignette added to it. But it's pretty much straight out of the camera.

If I ever make it to a meet, I'll definitely bring it along for other POTNers to try out.

Wendy

Morning all. Some great shots as usual. Anyone up to anything interesting today? I'll start the bidding at painting the kitchen ceiling :(
