I've done a ton of research recently about lee filters and started to put together my own kit. I have a screenshot of my cart right now below but i'm unsure about one item.

I needed a circular polarizer, i decided that if i'm already spending that much.. i might as well go all out and get a 105mm circular polarizer and get it done with.

But as 2filter doesn't carry 105mm circular polarizers for the lee filter system. I looked on B&H and found these.

The regular Lee 105mm circular polarizer for $300
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ular_Polarizer_Glass.html (external link)

or this B+W 105mm circular polarizer for heck of a lot cheaper @ $226
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …_Circular_Polarizing.html (external link)

Does the B+W filter work on the Lee filter systems? And where can i buy a adapter ring for it? 2filter doesn't carry it either and i'm not sure which one i need to get.

Here is the screenshot of the cart.

If you were me.. would you do it any differently? To make the system more efficient?

Thanks a ton!

Just a thought... that is a lot of money. Why not try just getting the Hitech and handholding them? Also, have you tried blending multiple exposures in photoshop? That is what I do and it is much cheaper.

Out of curiousity, what is the 105mm filter for? 77mm is the biggest I need, curious what the 105mm is going on.

Just use 3 gobs of blue tac to stick the filter to the lens, and forget the holder.

Well, i wanted to get it right from the camera. Not really into post processing and HDR. Thanks for the suggestion though!

It's to prevent vignetting when i stack the filters :)

I approve of your setup but, I'm more of the 4X4 CPL type and it works well. If you really want to save some money you should get this instead.

And here's my setup for preference. If you have any questions please ask away.

Thanks for the links jdizzle.

I called 2filter and talk to Andrea.. She was ultra ultra helpful with my questions. Was on the phone for 40mins and she answer all the questions. Excellent customer service.

She end me talking me into getting just a CPL for my most used lens which is the 67mm and the 77mm treads. I already have a 67 so i got myself a 77. She highly recommended the Marumi Supter DHG CPL which was tied for first place against the B+W Kaeseman CPL which is more expensive on a review on lenstip.com

Was going to get a Lee Big stopper ND3.0 but they didn't have any in stock so i went with a few Hitech ND.

This is what i end up getting eventually! The order will be here on Wednesday! Can't wait to go out and test these filters. :D

Yes Sir. I hope to find some time to go out and shoot this weekend. Just need to find a good location to put these filters to good use!
