Nice pictures and color, I would crop Number 2 and 3 just a little bit, to get rid of some of the extra space around the aircraft.

For flight test they have to have extremely accurate airspeeds, which means they have to know the static pressure very accurately. This is just a 'remote' static port if you will, out of all of the influences of the aircraft.

Oops, I meant to comment on the wonderful pictures too! Very sharp and clear. Nicely done. I love the wingletts on that thing, you can really see their unique lines in #4.

Great images! Definitely wall material. #2 is my fav and I second the tighter crops. The 787 is an interesting airplane. I'd love to see one in person. Would you mind posting EXIF on these? I'm trying to improve my shots and would like to know what you used.
