Very nice moon, Rich. You got the exposure perfect and the focus is tack sharp. Just the right amount of PP.

Around here, it seems like every time that the phase of the moon is right for photographing, the weather does not want to cooperate.

I shot some lunar images a few nights ago to see how my 7D does with live view focusing, but the moon was not very high in the sky at the time, so I had a lot of atmospheric haze to contend with along with operator error in setting things up.

I had the same problem.... took it later...luckily before the clouds moved in!
