Anyone had this happen before? The battery grip is stuck! The wheel goes round but then stops and the grip doesn't budge at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Now he has it on the camera but without the wheel, works the same just needs a screwdriver to take on/off. Amateur photographer

Who needs the tripod socket anyways right? Just cut it all off and leave the threaded part of the grip in there where you cant get it out.

The way to do it has been posted: robscomputer wrote in post #10237635 My friend just fixed his stripped grip problem by cutting away the wheel with a dremel and using a screwdriver tip to loosen the grip. Now he has it on the camera but without the wheel, works the same just needs a screwdriver to take on/off. - the wheel that now spins freely is hollow so dremel or snip it open and you will see the gears - then just use a small screw driver and hammer to get them moving.
