I've just ordered two from http://stores.ebay.com.au/Better-Homen-Life (external link) - I got my RF-602s from them and was happy with the experience.

What the best reliable source for the YN-560. There are several Ebay sellers. Is there one better than the others?

PS: it was suggested that these guys were MFG direct, http://stores.ebay.com/hkyongnuophotoequipment (external link). But they dont list the 560. What does that mean??

I bought mine from them and I am still waiting after a month. Pretty pissed. When I bought it , it wasnt available on amazon which is where I buy everything.

I also bought mine from hkyongnuophotoequipment ebay seller. It came around 8 regular days after receiving the shipment email. Luckily, I got the new version with metal feet.

cgroh89, I'd send them an email or something. Maybe it got lost in the mail.

I was going to and just ask for my money back and get them off amazon when there shipping tracker updated a few days ago. I can only assume that it was just sitting in customs waiting to get on the boat.

Mine just came in today. The lack of button labels was a bit disorienting at first; I actually had to look through the manual. I did indeed get the metal mount version. I'm very pleased with the overall build quality of it. The pilot/test button wasn't too hard to depress; no more difficult than on a 580EXII. The beeping confirmation is a bit loud but I can see how it could be useful.
I deeply appreciate that there's no button to hold down to turn the swivel/tilt head. Very satisfied with my purchase, and as I learn about slave flashes/strobist stuff, it can only get more and more useful.

I have read many of you had issues with the New Harbor company through Amazon.com. Just to let you know, I ordered a YN-560 from them January 17th and received it yesterday. As far as who you should purchase a YN-560 from? I would suggest getting it through BestDealUSA off of Amazon though. They seem a little quicker and more reliable and a bit cheaper as well. But I didn't have a single problem with New Harbor just to let you guys know.

I'm definitely going to keep that in mind for when I want to order more. I love my YN560's!

And if you're wondering, I just used it to light a focus test chart. SO happy to be using a PC Port again instead of relying on Optical Sensors. It's powerful, recharges very well and feels pretty solid. I'm not going to use it to go prop up my car's axle while I change a tire mind you, but it's solid still. AND IT WAS ONLY $55!!!!!! Why oh why did I ever buy a 580EX II in the first place???

these just came in. i'm VERY satisfied with the flash. i guess i have the second revision to it with the metal foot. the pilot button actually isn't hard to press either! very solidly built, fast recharge times and is quiet. only thing i regret is not getting a second one!

the rf-602's also work great.

edit: i ordered these from the yongnuo ebay store.

In addition you get the current version with the metal foot. I bought from bestDeal and they were quick, responded to my emails promptly and delivered the right product!
