1988 Major semi final my Balmain Tigers V the South Sydney Rabbitohs, whoever wins gets first spot in the Grand Final.
A Sydney Football Stadium capacity crowd of 40,000 are getting ready minutes before kickoff. I’m sitting behind the goal posts at the Southern end. I pull out my trusty Nikon F3 and practice my MF on the giant electronic score board more than 150 metres away at the Northern end (No AF in those days). Next thing I know I'm up in lights on the score board. I to get my brain into gear quick enough to rattle off two shots. It was so quick that when I get the film processed only one is of me.
