I want a girlie looking camera bag. And, I'd like one that's rather like a purse. I'm not seeing many options, but I know there have to be some out there.

These at Adorama. (Note that most of these are "small," and I think I need something larger than those.)

This at Amazon

Does anyone have any other options to suggest?

I've seen a lot of female photographers rave about the jill-e stuff. Seems to be the largest collection of it's type.

I had seen this bag (external link) at best buy.. it looks large enough for a body and lens.
It has already been discussed here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=573986

If you find any cute ones, let me know. I've only seen ones that look like Old Lady bags... The Shoot Sac line is great, but not big enough. At least they make really cool covers with fun fabrics. They are not made to carry a lot of gear though, they are not for transporting gear, but for carrying your stuff WHILE you shoot, extra lenses, batteries etc.

The cutest ones I've seen are from a small company "Epiphanie", most aren't shipping until next month

I also like Kelly Moore's, a bit more pricey and "fancier" looking

What i've done is take a Clik-Elite capsule and stuff it into an awesome Betsey Johnson bag :) I'll post a review tomorrow

I wanted the same thing. Ended up using my top loading "kit" camera bag that came with the camera. I just bought a roomy one compartment shoulder strap purse and puy the camera bag inside it. Works well I have pleanty of room for regular purse items also.

Hmm.... That's a thought, too. I could look around for some smallish camera bag and a big purse.... At least until I find a girlie camera bag I truly like.

I think I'm liking the Epiphanie bags best, as well! I'm soooooooo close to ordering the "Belle." Anyone have any experience with these bags? The big question is How Well Do They Hold Up?????

It looks like the Epiphanie bags are even a little bit bigger than my Think Tank Retrospective 10 which easily holds a Pro body with a lens attached and a second large lens. The Kelly Moore's are very nice to look at but don't look like they'd hold a pro body, but if I was using the smaller body I'd probably go for the Kelly Moore, just like their styling better. Both are very nice, I do like the purple Kelly Moore.

I've read in a couple places/reviews that the Kelly Moore's don't zip closed when they are full. :(

Funny but I have a girlfriend who carries a regular large tote bag with some padding in the bottom and it's her whole purse, she travels a lot, like all over the place to retreats, painters workshops etc. and always has a Nikon D300 with a 18-200 mounted inside the bag ready to go. It's way to girly to think anything but a lot of stuff that we sometimes carry is inside which is true but she just happens to include a very nice DSLR.

You can get padded inserts to fit in the tote bag of your choice. I have one of the larger "F2" inserts from the link below in a military surplus messenger bag as a cheap way of carrying extra gear.

I bookmarked the link. Did you just set those in the bag or secure them? If so, how?

I'm still leaning strongly to the Epiphanie bag, though. And, if I find a coupon code then...well...timber!
