This problem has appeared yesterday in my Lightroom 3 beta: when im in Develop tab doing adjustments to the photo and when im done with it and i click back on Library tag, some of the adjustments disappear like they were not performed (like sharpening or using brush..). then when i click back on develop tag every adjustment is there and then again clicking back on the library tag some adjustments are undone. can anyone help me to fix this problem? seems like the things i do in develop tag are not saved when it comes out to the library. thanks

Have you tried clearing your preview cache?

The develop module and library use two different preview files if I remember correctly. It sounds like lightroom is not creating an updated library preview after you do changes in develop. I have noticed a similiar quirk when using the spot removal tool, however after a second it updates the image.

Have you tried doing an export to a .jpg file and checking if your changes show on the jpg?

The LR designers are aware that there are some bugs in rendering Library previews. It is a beta after all.

The Lightroom Forum site where I saw the statement by an Adobe spokeswoman (Victoria Bampton) seems to be down now. I will post a link later if they return on line.

OK people do not understand, this is a beta, it is free and you are not working for anything, you should be happy you have it. you are the front line of testers for this product and be happy about it, I have not seen this problem however I have seen others. for a free product what can you expect?

Go to the Adobe Lightroom Beta forum and reprt it -- and in the meantime just go to Library/Previews and select a preview to create/be refreshed and you should be fine.

Which adjustments specifically are disappearing? Sharpening, I'm not surprised by. Anything else?

And if you render 1:1 previews by going to Library menu > Previews > Render 1:1 Previews, does it solve the problem?

sorry guys I was out of town, sadly i havn't fixed this problem.

why not with sharpening??? in 1:1 preview its much better but if i go above or beyond that the sharpening disappears. i think clarity is not showing up as well. is there a way to solve this?
