I was going to suggest this as well. You really need a "handler" who knows the when/where of every aspect of the ceremony and reception and can direct you there accordingly, and also identify the principle subjects and be responsible for rounding them up for the traditional posed shots. Double bonus for getting the wife to do it.

Make sure you don't make the mistake or over processing. I have gone from editing every picture with a crazy action (rookie mistake, it just looks dumb and inconsistent) to now being much more selective with which images to apply processing to. Mostly color correct, then black and white, and then some off color works for me right now.
