Traveling always presents a dilemma for me. I have a G11 which takes greats shots and shoots raw. But, of course, there is nothing like an SLR for fast shooting.
For a resort type trip (where lounging on the beach is the main event) I plan to just take the G11.
For a trip overseas I will bring my 20d and a walk around lens like an 18-200.
My question is this: since I am lucky to own some good L lenses, should I bring them? Will I regret not bringing them? Or will be worried about them the whole trip?
Will a walk around lens (like the Sigma 18-200) be good enough to keep me happy and not so worried? obviously there is no right answer, I'm just looking for opinions. Thanks.
