Beautiful lighting on those valentine roses, Insecto. The lighting really brings out the texture in the rose petals. Awesome detail work. What setup did you use? Macro ring flash?

Thanks. Setup as follows:

6D
100mm macro
35mm--ish of extension tubes
tripod
Magic Lantern for focus stacking (could be done manually, but ML makes it a walk in the park)
Kitchen light fixture attached to ceiling

Roses are easy if you do a few things. Well diffused light, and long exposure (both shots were well over a second). Do those two things and the roses do the rest.
