I tried a test flower shot with an ancient Nikkor 135mm f2.8 on a Sony a6000 with manual focus and metering. topped down to I think f5.6. This is not a macro lens and it is a heavy crop but it looks pretty nice!

I tried a new technique with this peony. Shot in broad daylight and intentionally underexposed to fade out the background. Slight HSL edits and a few finishing touches added in LR & PS.
