Pippan Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 5 years ago by Pippan. (2 edits in all) | Jun 10, 2018 06:45 | #6855 Dry season's here now in Australia's wet-dry tropics and the woollybutts, Eucalyptus miniata, are beginning to flower. What a show! This one's on the stone country near Tolmer Falls in Litchfield National Park. Image hosted by forum (917565) © Pippan [SHARE LINK] And nearby on a rocky outcrop is an unusual yellow variety of kenbi, Eucalyptus phoenicea. Kenbi flowers are usually orange, like the woollybutt. Kenbi and woollybutt are the main trees from which local Aboriginal people in and south-west of Darwin make didgeridoos, which they also call kenbi.THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
