Thank you, they do. These cacti are such bee magnets. The flowers start to open in early evening and the bees get right to work. There's a brief window for shooting just before bee bedtime. Bees return in the morning, when the flowers are closing slowly.

Thanks for the compliment. The flowerhead shown is only about 4mm in size. No it's not a native but fairly prolific in garden centres. I have a succulent garden so I have a few varieties of kalanchoe the most well known is probably the "flapjack" known more for it's leaves than it's drab flowerhead although honeyeaters love it.
