Buttons functions as normal with this one? I saw an Opteka brand at EBAY for $68.95 plus 2 Batteries, dont know if this is a good brand.

Everything functions exactly as I'd expect it to. 5DM2 | 7D | 600/4.0 IS | 50/1.4 | 24-70/2.8 | 70-200/2.8 | 580EXII (x2) | Quantum Qflash | Sekonic L-358 | Photogenic monolights | Tamrac bags | Bogen/Manfrotto supports

I have one too - its great and shows both batteries, however for my 7d I will get the original as i shoot sport and dont want any mishap with the trigger. the zuiko feel quite different to the original but hey its a third of the price. How is the feel of the shutter release, compared to the camera's own button? I've had the grip for about a month only. It seems like this is a new grip from a different manufacturer, as all the previous 3rd party grips I've seen lack the rubber grip on the battery cover. The feel of the buttons on the grip are noticably different from the camera's, but definitely usable. The 5d2 buttons have a "mushier" feel to them.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.
