I've gone through at least a half dozen bags before I purchased the Kata 3N1-30 I use it daily completely stuffed. I wouldn't call it a walk around easy access bag but it does carry everything I need with me. I mostly use it to haul my gear around and leave it in the trunk after grabbing the body/lens combo I want to use. I've have been using it for only 3 months we'll see how it holds up after a year.

I have both a 3N1-30 and a Kata 467 backpack. I use the 467 every day. I tried to use the 3n1 - I really did. I love how my gear fit in it, and how easy it was to shoot out of. But the straps are just too skinny and small to handle all the weight of my gear, and the don't stay tight once I tighten them with the pack on my back. The straps are my only problem, but for me, they make the bag unusable.

Didn't love it based on poor quality or based on it didn't meet your needs?

Both actually. I didn't like the straps, like others have said, they are too skinny. They just didn't feel comfy on my shoulders. I didn't like how my Tokina would sit in the bottom compartment when my 7D and 70-200 were in the bag. I would actually have to take off the reversed hood on my Tokina so I wouldn't get a bulge at the bottom of the bag.

Well that holds true for many slings, I would think - including my Lowepro 200AW...
