Hi there,
I got this device today. Anyone have any idea where to download a manual for this time X machine software that came with it.
There is no instruction on how to use this for a newbie like me.

Thanks much

Tried the WinTec website, such as it is? Although I have a pretty low opinion of a company whose web site insists I use Internet Explorer to download any files.

thanks Jon . I found a help menu but it is so old, like verson 1.1 now this thing is version 2.7.1.
Where do we geenrally read up on this geotag thing for this wintec, the website is totally useless.
It seems to me this geotagging time X machine is specific to this wintec 201, so this is really bad, because the manual just does not help me to geotag my photos :-(

Can't help you there. I went with easily-available solutions in Downloader Pro and Garmin receivers.

Google search skills are handy to have...22 page user manual on this web page, as well as TimeMachine v2.7.1 software and its user manual

So are documentation skills, which those downloads make abundantly clear the manufacturer lacks.

Chinese manufacturer, after all. Hey, I still remember Japanese manufacturers not all that long ago, with 'camela' and 'ladio' in user guides!

Thanks Wilt. I also got this website, did you mean the user manual download.
I got this in the package, the hard copy but does not have anything on the Time Machine X.

I used the help in the program, but it is some sort ofmanual for the oldest version of this program. like 1.1 , which has a completely different interface ?

I am mad with them for not making another updated version, unless of course i could not find it. :-(

The download for Time Machine has the description...

TimeMachineX V2.7.1 (For Windows XP & Vista) 2008/06/04

*Not support Windows 2000.
*User Manual included.
*In the Vista, please turn off Vista UAC before install TimeMachineX.

is that the insufficient documentation that you refer to?

Hi Wilt, I too was searching for this link.
That is a dead link. I could not click on anything on this link.

The link for Time Machine worked fine for me...it installed the program and also a Help file which is 77 pages long. I created a PDF version of it, if you'd like to send me your email address I can send it as an attachment.
